i just talked to this girl online last night for a few hours, we live close to each other and we have quite a bit in common, i asked for her phone number and she gave it to me and i told her i'd call her tonight, i don't want it to be an awkward phone call, what can i do to keep her interested and myself as well and make myself seem like an idiot?Talking on the phone for the first time with a girl you hardly know? help, advice?
Just say whatever comes to mind. whenever i call a guy for the first time i just talk about my day, anything funny that happened. ask her questions to get to know her. girls like to talk about themselves so ask questions.

Perhaps you should think about the things you spoke about with her last night and use those things to come up with a subject of discussion.





There must be some shared interests if you talk to each other for a few hours.
Simply ask her what shes interested in, and go with what she tells you...





I think things are better off with girls when you think of them on the spot, Like that they fall in love with you and not with Yahoo answers!

Be yourself. Either she will like 'yourself' or not. You cannot manipulate how she will feel about you so why try. Everyone is not a match so move on if it doesnt work and dont feel like you can control.
just let her talk, girls love to talk. Don't worry about acting like an idiot. She gave you her phone # b/c she likes you for who you are. Just go with it.
ykno, say things like ';its so good to finally hear your voice';, or ';you speak very well';,......its corny but it works on some stupid girls....hey situation dictates on how your gonna carry the convo, so if she is a smart( street smarts/common sense) than you could just bullshit about nothing, most smart girls enjoy that over lines and ';game';......above all else, just have fun from it and learn from your mistakes and this experience, and good luck!!!!!!
